about me
I am currently an interior designer at Idea-Span, a subsidiary of Stevens & Wilkinson. My responsibilities include space planning, FF&E selection, and client correspondence for corporate workplace environments. Previously, I was part of the design team at Peace Design, a premier residential firm. I am an Associate lmember of IIDA and a LEED Green Associate. Additionally, I am pursuing my NCIDQ certification. Curious and enthusiastic, I believe that my knowledge and drive will serve me well in my career as a designer.
I recently completed my Master of Fine Arts in Interior Design at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta. I am passionate about interior design and how it can impact the human experience. While at SCAD, I gained a holistic knowledge of the built environment and how to create successful, functional spaces. Prior to working on my MFA, I received a BFA in interior design at Valdosta State University. There, I learned valuable software skills, space planning strategies, and honed my architectural drawing abilities.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time outside and connecting with nature. This relationship and respect for the outdoor world helps me to understand the importance of sustainability and how we as designers can impact our environment.
